Persian (Farsi) Adventure (Elara and Arion)
Today, Elara, Arion and their mommy head from daycare to the playground at pickup time. Mommy has Elara's bike with her, and their daddy joins them and then Elara and daddy start biking. Arion loves the sandpit in the playground and he and mommy go there to play. All throughout, they talk about Norouz (the persian new year), and mommy who knows Farsi teaches Elara and Arion new words about Spring.

How it begins
Narrator: It is a bright, warm day at the end of winter. The air feels fresh and full of spring! Elara and Arion are finishing up a fun day at daycare.
Elara: Arion, look! Mommy's here!
Arion: Mama!
Narrator: Mommy smiles and gives them big hugs. She has Elara's shiny red bike with her.
Elara: Is it time to go to the playground, Mommy?
Narrator: Mommy nods. She loves picking up Elara and Arion after daycare, especially when the sun is out.
Elara: It feels really warm today!
Narrator: Mommy kneels beside them and looks at the bright sky.
Elara: خورشید! (Sun!)
Narrator: That’s right, Elara! 'Khorshīd' means sun.
Elara: خورشید! (Sun!)
Arion: خورشید! (Sun!)
